About Mountain Divers
Mountain Divers was officially opened by Ken Parent at 359 South Eisenhower Dr. Beckley, West Virginia in March of 2007 as a SCUBA Schools International Training facility.
As a World-Class Master Instructor, Ken brings 18 years teaching experience/ 20 years industry experience back to his home town of Beckley, West Virginia. Ken holds instructor ratings with the three largest training agencies in the world: SSI (SCUBA Schools International) PADI (Professional Association of Dive Instructors) and NAUI (National Association of Under Water Instructors.) His global training began early during his military days on the island of Okinawa, Japan.
Ken spent the last 10 years training divers in the coastal areas of Forida, freshwater springs and caves, Cenotes of Mexico and the Sea of Cortez, San Carlos, Mexico.
Ken holds instructor ratings with the most internationally recognized training agencies: PADI Master Instructor, NAUI Instructor, SSI Dive Con Instructor and IANTD Technical Instructor.

Ken uses his personal training and international experience to ensure you develop the necessary skills to become a confident and safe diver.
Many people will remember Ken, the owner of Mountaian Divers, as the former owner of "Dive-a-lot Sports," formerly located in Beckley, West Virginia. Including
"Dive-a-lot Sports," Ken has successfully owned and managed 5 SCUBA facilities prior to opening Mountain Divers.
